By MBBSDirect.com  |  Updated: March 2026  |  Verified fee structures for NMC-approved universities in Russia and Kyrgyzstan • Currency rate: 1 Ruble = Rs. 1.20 (as of 23 March 2026) • Kyrgyzstan fees payable in USD

Fees, Hostel & All Expenses — Exactly What You Will Pay in 2026

One of the most common sources of confusion for families planning MBBS abroad is the gap between what is advertised and what is actually paid. At MBBSDirect, we believe in complete transparency. The tables below reflect the actual, verified fee structures for every university we currently facilitate admissions to — tuition, hostel, and all mandatory other expenses included.

We cover two destinations: Russia (9 NMC-approved universities, fees in Russian Ruble / USD) and Kyrgyzstan (KRSU, Bishkek — fees in USD, Indian mess included). All INR figures use the conversion rate of 1 Ruble = Rs. 1.20 as of 23 March 2026 and are for estimation purposes only.

Important: All fees must be paid in Russian Ruble or US Dollar — not in Indian Rupee. The INR figures in the tables below are estimates only, calculated at 1 Ruble = Rs. 1.20 (as of 23 March 2026). Actual INR cost will vary based on exchange rates at the time of payment.

Kyrgyzstan — KRSU Bishkek Fee Structure 2026

Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University (KRSU) in Bishkek is our top-recommended MBBS abroad destination — the #1 FMGE performer for 6 consecutive years among all Indian MBBS abroad universities. The fee structure at KRSU is all-inclusive: tuition, hostel, Indian mess, registration, and all university expenses are bundled together.

Fee-Related Questions — Answered

Q1 Are these the final fees or will there be additional charges later?
The figures in this table represent all mandatory, known expenses — tuition, hostel, and others (insurance, visa extension, biometric, etc.). The only additional first-year cost to note is up to Rub. 20,000 for supplementary documentation required by some Russian universities in Year 1 only. For KRSU, the all-inclusive fee covers tuition, hostel, Indian mess, and all university expenses — there are no hidden charges.
Q2 Can I pay in Indian Rupees?
No. Russian university fees must be paid in Russian Ruble or US Dollar. KRSU fees are payable in US Dollar. The INR figures throughout this page are estimates only, calculated at 1 Ruble = Rs. 1.20 (as of 23 March 2026). Actual INR outflow will depend on exchange rates at the time of each payment. MBBSDirect will guide you through the payment process.
Q3 What is the OTC charge and when must it be paid?
OTC (One-Time Cost) of Rs. 1,67,400 ($1,800) is charged for all Russian university admissions. It must be paid via MBBSDirect before the visa invitation letter is issued. This is a one-time charge — it is not repeated in subsequent years. It is separate from both the annual university fees and the MBBSDirect service charges.
Q4 Does KRSU’s fee include food? What about Russian universities?
Yes — KRSU’s fee structure explicitly includes Indian mess charges. This is one of the most significant practical advantages of KRSU for Indian students. For Russian universities, food is not included in the fee structure shown above. Students at Russian universities will need to budget separately for daily meals.
Q5 Which is the most affordable option overall?
For annual cost: Pitirim Sorokin Syktyvkar (Rs. 3.99L/year) and Northern State Medical University (Rs. 4.38L/year) are the lowest-cost Russian options. For total 6-year value — factoring in quality, FMGE track record, Indian food, and structured support — KRSU at Rs. 38.90 Lakh all-inclusive represents outstanding value.
